Football Skating World Cup 2027 is being prepared as the largest, most ambitious, and most internationally visible event ever developed for the sport.

Following the success of Trabzon 2024 - the largest Football Skating event organized from the sport's documented origins in 1882 up to that time - Federation International Football Skating (FIFS) is planning a substantially larger edition for 2027.

The 2027 project is designed to raise every dimension of the World Cup: international participation, host-country prestige, competition quality, broadcast reach, ceremonies, hospitality, cultural exchange, commercial opportunities, education, governance, and global public engagement.

FIFS intends to award the hosting opportunity to a country capable of presenting the event at an exceptional international level, with the infrastructure, government support, operational capacity, hospitality standards, and strategic vision required for a world-class ten-day program.

Event Vision: A Compact Global Sports Festival

The World Cup is being developed as much more than a tournament. Its concept is comparable to a compact international multi-program sports festival in which competition, governance, culture, education, business, entertainment, hospitality, and diplomacy are connected within one unified event.

Across approximately ten days, the program is expected to include:

• 2nd Junior Football Skating World Cup
• FIFS World Congress and General Assembly
• the first World Cup Commercial and Cultural Exhibition
• international coach, referee, and management programs

The objective is to create an event that remains memorable not only for its results, but also for its atmosphere, global relationships, visual identity, and long-term impact.

Senior and Junior World Cups

The 2027 edition will be organized in the FUTINS discipline across two official categories:

16th Senior Football Skating World Cup

The senior championship will bring together leading national teams for the highest-level official international competition in the discipline.

2nd Junior Football Skating World Cup

Building on the successful first Junior World Cup held in Türkiye in 2024, the junior competition will return as a central part of the 2027 program and an important pathway for the next generation of athletes.

The integration of senior and junior categories will allow federations to present both established national teams and emerging young talent within one major global event.

Target Participation: 32 to 48 Countries

FIFS is preparing the event for a minimum target of 32 countries and a maximum target of 48 participating countries, subject to the final host capacity, competition format, qualification requirements, and operational approvals.

This level of participation would make the 2027 World Cup several times larger in scale and complexity than the historic 2024 edition.

The intended international representation includes countries from all major regions of the world, creating a genuinely global championship with broad cultural, institutional, and media value.

Final participation will be governed by official invitation, federation eligibility, registration, technical compliance, deadlines, and the approved competition regulations.

Selecting a World-Class Host Country

The host country and city will be selected through a formal evaluation of their ability to deliver an exceptional international event.

FIFS is seeking a host environment capable of providing:

The World Cup will be conducted under the international authority of Federation International Football Skating (FIFS).

IPTC Organization - International Professional Training Certification - will serve as the main organizer and strategic event-delivery partner of FIFS for the preparation and execution of the 2027 project.

Dr. Mehdi Salman Pour, President of FIFS and President of the historic Trabzon 2024 World Cup, will lead the organization of the 2027 edition as President and Head of the World Cup organization.

This leadership continuity connects the proven experience of 2024 with a much larger international vision for 2027.

A Ten-Day International Program

The provisional event concept is based on an approximately ten-day international program, subject to final host-country and competition scheduling.

FIFS World Congress 2027

The official FIFS World Congress and General Assembly is planned for the second day of the World Cup program.

The Congress will bring together national federation presidents, authorized delegates, FIFS leadership, committee representatives, technical officials, and invited institutional partners.

The program is expected to include:

• future World Cup and championship planning
