FIFS Mission, Vision & Values
Our Mission
Federation International Football Skating (FIFS) is committed to governing, regulating, developing, and expanding Football Skating as an independent, innovative, and globally recognized international sport.
Our mission is to build a complete global ecosystem for Football Skating by establishing professional governance, unified technical standards, official Laws of the Game, education and certification pathways, national federation structures, international competitions, and sustainable development programs.
FIFS works to create meaningful opportunities for athletes, coaches, referees, clubs, schools, universities, national federations, governments, and institutional partners across all regions of the world.
Through its official disciplines - FUTINS, RollerSoccer, Ice Football Skating, and Freestyle Football Skating - FIFS protects the unique identity of the sport while supporting its continuous technical, educational, competitive, and institutional evolution.
Our mission is not only to organize a sport, but to build a lasting international movement for future generations.
Our Vision
FIFS envisions Football Skating becoming one of the most innovative, accessible, dynamic, and internationally respected sports of the future.
Our vision is to establish a strong global presence for Football Skating across:
- schools and universities
- clubs and academies
- national federations
- continental structures
- international championships
- major global sporting platforms
We aim to create professional pathways from grassroots participation to national teams, World Cups, international club competitions, and elite performance across all official FIFS disciplines.
Through long-term development toward 2030, 2035, and beyond, FIFS seeks to position Football Skating as an enduring part of international sport culture and to build the institutional, technical, competitive, and global foundations required for future recognition within the international Olympic sport movement.
Our vision is clear:
To create a truly global sport that inspires young people, connects nations, rewards creativity, and continues to evolve for generations.

Our Core Values
FIFS is guided by a set of core values that define its identity, leadership culture, and international direction.

Integrity
We build Football Skating through credible governance, ethical leadership, accountability, transparent standards, and institutional responsibility.
Innovation
We encourage original ideas, new disciplines, modern competition concepts, advanced education systems, and creative development pathways.
Independence
We protect Football Skating as a distinct sport with its own identity, Laws of the Game, technical systems, equipment, culture, and global direction.
Unity
We bring together disciplines, countries, athletes, leaders, and institutions within one international federation and one shared global vision.

Inclusion
We create opportunities for people from different countries, cultures, age groups, educational systems, clubs, and communities to participate in the sport.
Equality
We promote fair and meaningful opportunities for women, men, girls, and boys across participation, competition, education, officiating, administration, and leadership.

Development
We build sustainable pathways from grassroots participation to schools, clubs, national structures, continental programs, World Cups, and international excellence.
Excellence
We pursue the highest possible standards in governance, events, technical development, coaching, refereeing, education, safety, communication, and international operations.

Innovation & Independence
FIFS believes that the future of Football Skating must be created through originality, not imitation.
The federation does not seek to copy traditional sport structures or reproduce systems designed for unrelated disciplines.
Instead, FIFS develops Football Skating through its own:
- Laws of the Game
- refereeing systems
- coaching methodologies
- competition formats
- technical standards
- official equipment
- education pathways
- international development philosophy
This commitment can be seen in the introduction of new disciplines, modern World Cup concepts, the development of the official size 5.5 Football Skating ball, new junior and school competition pathways, and the creation of Ice Football Skating and Freestyle Football Skating.
Innovation is not a temporary project within FIFS. It is a permanent institutional responsibility.
We do not copy the future. We create it.
Equality & Inclusion
FIFS is committed to building a modern sporting culture based on meaningful inclusion and genuine equality.
Football Skating offers unique opportunities for girls and boys to participate and compete together within the same team structure, where appropriate.
At the same time, FIFS recognizes that different countries, competition formats, cultural environments, and development objectives may require dedicated women's, men's, girls', or boys' categories.
The federation therefore applies a flexible and responsible approach designed to support:
- fair participation
- athlete welfare
- cultural suitability
- competitive development
- equal access to opportunity
Equality within FIFS extends beyond the field of play. It also includes access to:
- coaching
- refereeing
- education
- management
- committee participation
- administration
- international leadership

Global Development Commitment
FIFS is committed to bringing Football Skating to every region of the world through professional, structured, and sustainable international development.
This commitment includes support for:
- national federation establishment
- government and Olympic Committee relations
- national club development
- school and university programs
- youth and grassroots participation
- coach and referee education
- official certification and licensing
- national and continental competitions
- participation in World Cups and international events
FIFS believes that global success cannot be built only through major competitions. Strong international sport requires strong national foundations.
For this reason, the federation works simultaneously on:
- institutional recognition
- technical development
- education
- membership
- competitions
- athlete pathways
- international visibility
FIFS and its operational partner, IPTC, are committed to supporting countries that genuinely wish to establish and develop Football Skating professionally.
Our Direction Toward 2030 and 2035
Football Skating is a long-term international development project built on creativity, institutional strength, technical independence, education, and global cooperation.
By 2030 and 2035, FIFS aims to achieve:
- wider global federation representation
- stronger national and continental structures
- expanded school and university participation
- professional coach and referee systems
- regular senior and junior World Cups
- the Schools Open World Cup
- Ice Football Skating competitions
- Freestyle Football Skating competitions
- international club competitions
- stronger women's participation
- improved governance and integrity structures
- greater media and broadcast visibility
- broader recognition within international sport
Our direction is to ensure that Football Skating grows not as a temporary trend, but as a serious, original, organized, and internationally respected sport.
The foundations we build today are intended to serve athletes, nations, and future generations for decades to come.
