Privacy Policy

How Federation International Football Skating handles personal information collected through this website.

Effective date: 1 August 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Federation International Football Skating (FIFS) handles personal information collected through this website. FIFS is committed to processing personal information fairly, lawfully and transparently.

By using this website you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please stop using the website.

Information We Collect

The only personal information you provide to FIFS through this website is what you submit voluntarily through the official Contact form. The Contact form collects:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Federation, club or organisation (optional)
  • Country
  • Enquiry type (e.g. membership and affiliation, World Cup participation, hosting, sponsorship, education, media, general)
  • Subject and message content

This website does not create user accounts, does not accept payments and does not require registration.

Technical and Usage Data

When you access this website, standard server request information may be recorded in short-term server logs (for example your IP address, the date and time of the request, the URL requested, and general information about your browser and operating system sent in the HTTP headers). Server logs are used only for security, error diagnosis and technical operation of the website.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

This website uses a single technical cookie for essential functionality. It is used to hold a session identifier and a CSRF security token during a Contact-form submission. The cookie is marked HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and is only sent over HTTPS on secure connections.

This website does not set analytics, advertising, profiling or tracking cookies.

Videos on this website are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and use a click-to-load design: no request is sent to YouTube, and no YouTube cookies are set, until you actively press play on a video.

How We Use Personal Information

Information you submit through the Contact form is used only to receive, read, understand and respond to your enquiry, and to route it to the correct FIFS department (for example, World Cup participation, sponsorship, education/licensing or media). The Contact form uses a Reply-To header set to the email address you provide so that the receiving department can reply to you directly.

Sharing of Personal Information

FIFS does not sell personal information and does not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

For enquiries that fall under the operational responsibility of our strategic operational partner IPTC — for example membership/affiliation, licensing, certification or sponsorship enquiries — your enquiry may be routed to the relevant IPTC contact address so that it can be handled by the correct department.

FIFS may also disclose personal information where required to do so by law, by a court order, or by a competent regulatory authority.

Data Retention

Enquiries received through the Contact form are retained by the receiving FIFS department only for as long as necessary to answer them and to keep a reasonable record of the correspondence. Server logs are retained for a short technical period and then deleted or overwritten.

Security

FIFS applies reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information on this website, including HTTPS transport, session cookie flags (HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, Secure over HTTPS), CSRF protection on the Contact form and honeypot protection against automated form submissions. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

International Access

FIFS operates internationally. By using this website or contacting FIFS from any country, you understand that your enquiry may be handled by FIFS or by its designated partner IPTC in a country other than your own.

Children's Privacy

This website is aimed at federations, clubs, schools, universities, athletes, coaches, referees, partners and the wider international sporting community. It is not directed at children. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has submitted personal information through the Contact form, please contact FIFS and we will remove the information.

Your Privacy Requests

You may contact FIFS at any time to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, subject to any legal or record-keeping obligations that apply. Send your request to the address in the Contact section below.

Updates to This Policy

FIFS may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when the policy was last updated. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
