Federation International Football Skating (FIFS)

In alignment with the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) objectives for the unification of similar sports and the promotion of cooperation among related federations, the Roller Soccer International Federation (RSIF) and the Federation of International Futins (FIF) have shared common goals for the development and expansion of their respective sports. Following several meetings between officials from both federations, RSIF and FIF made the decision in February 2017 to unite and establish a new International Federation that would serve as an umbrella organization for both entities. Roller Soccer and Futins will continue to operate as two official disciplines under the direct supervision of FIFS, rather than as independent organizations.

Federation International Football Skating 1st Extraordinary Congress:

The First Extraordinary Congress of the Federation International Football Skating (FIFS) concluded with the election of a new President, two Vice Presidents, and a dedicated board of members, alongside the introduction of new projects and objectives. The Congress was held at the luxurious Tasigo 5 Star Hotel in Eskisehir, Turkey, from April 8th to 13th, 2017.

A significant highlight of the Congress was the successful consolidation of the RollerSoccer International Federation (RSIF) and the Futins International Federation (FIF) into a single International Federation. This new entity will serve as an umbrella organization for both sports on a global scale. Mr. Mehdi Salman Pour was elected as the new President of this unified Federation. Having previously served as the President of the Futins International Federation, Mr. Salman Pour has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the advancement of the sport worldwide. He holds several prominent positions in various international and continental federations and organizations, further emphasizing his commitment to fostering growth in this field.

The Congress also saw the election of Mr. Zack Phillips, the founder and President of the RollerSoccer International Federation from the USA, and Mr. Almir Falcao, the founder of the Futins sport in Brazil and Vice President of FIF, as the two Vice Presidents of FIFS. This pivotal moment marks the beginning of a collaborative effort between the Roller Soccer and Futins federations, united in their shared mission and vision for the future of their respective sports. The cooperation between these two federations, effective from April 8th, 2017, is a testament to their commitment to working side by side for the betterment of the global sporting community.
